DISADVANTAGES of VGA Wall Plate
- Joining any cable usually results in some signal loss but from our testing of these VGA wall plates, this is almost none
- Obviously you will need an additional VGA cable to run from the VGA wall plate to a TV, monitor or PC
- Need cavity space in the wall to take the cable and joiner
- VGA cables are not capable of transmitting audio signals, so using with a blank double face plate in conjunction with a 3.5mm audio wall plate module would resolve this
- Running an VGA cable directly would be cheaper
