DISADVANTAGES of Double HDMI Wall Plate
- Joining any cable usually results in some signal loss but from our testing of these dual HDMI wall plates, this is negligable
- Only works with Single AV Faceplate Back Box (85 x 85 x 35mm)
- Dearer than the single port HDMI wall plates
- Does not support HDMI V2.1
- Running a HDMI cable direct would be cheaper
- Need cavity space in the wall to take the HDMI cable & joiner
- Obviously you will need an additional HDMI cable to run from the double HDMI wall plate to a TV or receiver
