USES of RP-SMA Flat Window Pass Cable
- Frequently used for running SMA cables to outdoor RF, WiFi, 4G, 5G & Helium hotspot antennas
- Particularly useful where you can't or don't want to drill holes in the wall
- Note: Cable itself is weather proof but it's a good idea to use amalgamating tape on outdoor connections
- To use, simply open your window or patio door, place the flat cable in the frame & carefully close the window or patio door again
NOTE on Reverse Polarity SMA Connections
- A male RP-SMA connector has the same external housing as a standard male SMA connector
- But the center male pin is replaced by a female socket
- A female RP-SMA connector has the same housing as a standard female SMA connector
- But the female socket is replaced by a center male pin
