USES of Comms Cabinet
- Used mainly by IT professionals to house network switches, patch panels, power distribution units etc...

- Sometimes used by TV installers in commercial settings with F-Type patch panels like hotels, hospitals, nursing homes etc..

ADVANTAGES of Comms Cabinet
- It is 12U so has 12 adjustable rails which would be enough for most medium to large sized jobs
- It includes free castors & leveling feet so saves on expense of buying them separately which is common practice in the industry
- It also includes 1 free shelf to get you started (Again, not standard practice)
- It is around 2 feet deep so you have lots of room inside to work with
- 450mm, 550mm, 600mm depths are the most commonly used
DISADVANTAGES of Comms Cabinet
- The 12U, 600mm deep network cabinet may be too big for smaller jobs
- You might want a more slimline (less depth) version if space is at a premium
- It is not wall mountable
