- Can be used in conjunction with masthead amplifiers and power units
ADVANTAGES of UHF Wideband TV Aerial
- Gives over a 10 dB gain yet comes at a relatively low price
- This TV aerial will cover every transmitter in Ireland
- It avoids LTE broadband interference by not covering channel 60-68
- If you are unsure of which transmitter or group you will be using this TV aerial will work equally well with any TV aerial group or transmitter
- Lower cost when compared to a Wideband UHF Grid TV Aerial
- Takes up 30cm of pole space compared to 80cm for a TV Grid aerial, an issue when space is tight on your TV aerial pole
DISADVANTAGES of UHF Wideband TV Aerial
- It is more expensive than a standard 10 Element aerial
- Does not give quite the same gain as a UHF Grid Aerial
- Slightly more complicated to assemble then a 10 element contract Aerial
Product is now slightly different but the general assembly is similar
