Uses of Saorsat Satellite Dish Kit
- Used to receive Saorsat from Eutelsat @ 9 Degrees East
- Can also be used to receive satellite broadband
Advantages of Saorsat Satellite Dish Kit
- Allows you receive the Irish channels for free on satellite
- No need for a TV Aerial or subscription
- Saorsat offers near 100% coverage while Saorview can reach no more than 95% of homes
- No need for multi feed LNBs with Saorsat (Can split the Saorsat signal in attic)
Disadvantages of Saorsat Satellite Dish Kit
- A little more expensive than standard Sky / Freesat setup
- The range of channels on Saorsat is not yet complete (Only RTE channels & TG4 so far)
- Cannot receive Sky / Freesat with the KA-Band LNB that Saorsat uses
