Used in conjunction with an 80cm satellite dish to pickup Eutelsat @ 9 degrees east
With this you can receive the new Saorsat system, which offers Irish digital channels for free on satellite

Allows you receive the Irish channels for free on satellite
No need for a TV aerial or subscription
Saorsat offers near 100% coverage while Saorview can reach no more than 95% of homes
No need for multi feed LNBs with Saorsat (Can split the Saorsat signal in attic)

DISADVANTAGES of Saorsat KA-Band LNB

More expensive than standard Sky / Freesat LNBs
The range of channels on Saorsat is not yet complete (Only RTE channels & TG4 so far)
Cannot receive Sky / Freesat with this KA-Sat LNB

Got a ka lnb for saorsat....its a new style compered to the old one from inverto...noise fig. 1.7db...fitted easily and set up side by side with 3 other ku band lnb's..wired into spare port no.4 on diseq switch on 90cm mesh dish..all working perfect..on a icecrypt 3200 sat reciever..tnx to freetv.ie for what is a prompt delivery etc..
