USES of PoE Splitter With 5V USB Type-C Plug
- Ideal where you do not have a convenient power point to give a local 5Vdc input to your remote device
- Perfect when you want to send both data and 5Vdc to a device with a USB Type-C power input

- Android Phones / Tablets: Commercial displays or customer terminals with no existing local power source
- IP Cameras: Home WiFi cameras often use a USB Type-C power input but there may be no power source where you need to position it
- Raspberry Pi: There may be no local power point near where you need to locate your Raspberry Pi that's acting as a controller
- Works with an increasing range of devices that take 5Vdc and use a USB-C connection

- You will need either a PoE switch or PoE injector at the start of your run
- The cost of this would be offset however by the fact that you don't have to run a new power source to the remote device
