DISADVANTAGES of 2 PoE Cameras Over 1 Cable Adapter Set
- It will only operate at 100mbps at a maximum
- This is because it utilises the fact that CAT5/CAT5e only uses 2 pairs from the available 4
- It should work well for the likes of 2MP to 4MP cameras but may struggle when you go 4K / 8MP etc..
- Supports IEEE802.3AT/AF POE Transmission Standard
- Only Supports 1236 Transmission Standard
- 4578 Transmission Standard Not Supported (Only 4 core wires reach the device)
- You cannot convert a normal device to a POE device by using this adapter
