DESCRIPTION of an Irish & UK Channels Distribution Kit (Large Scale)
This purpose of this kit is to allow a hotel or B&B to receive the new Irish digital Saorview & free UK TV channels independently available across all TVs. It consists of 2 main component parts. Note: Set top boxes not included (Purchase separately)
Part 1: Multiswitch TV Distribution Signal Distribution
- High Gain UHF Aerial, Bracket, pole and installation kit (1)
- 80cm Satellite dish & wall bracket
- Quatro LNB
- Satellite & Terrestrial Multiswitch (8, 16 or 32 outputs)
- Installation kit:
- 100m Satellite Cable
- F Connectors (Qty: 20)
- F Joiners (Qty: 8)
Part 2: Equipment Per TV / Room (Not included, Order Separately)
- Scart lead 1.5m or 1.5 HDMI (1-32)
- TV Cable - 1.5m Coax Plug to Coax Plug
- TV Cable - 1.5m F Connector to F Connector
Extra Equipment
- Normally customers will need to upgrade the TV wall plate next to each TV to split a single cable into 2 feeds:
- one for Satellite (UK)
- and one for Terrestrial (Irish channels)
- These face plates can be selected from the 'Associated Products' to the right of this kit
- This kit comes with twist on F connectors but for a more professional job it is better to use compression F connectors and a compression tool. See the Associated products

Modify the Kit to meet your requirements
- Calculate how many TV points the TV distribution system must potentially feed
- select how many rooms you potentially want to feed from Multi-switch:
- 8 output - caters for up to 8 rooms
- 16 output - caters for up to 16 rooms
- 32 output - caters for up to 32 rooms

Note
- As can be seen from the above options it possible just to buy this kit purely as a 'bare bones system' or you can choose to add on and buy the combo receivers separately or each room
- It is possible to purchase specific items e.g. the TV wall plates directly from the associated products
- This system can be used in conjunction with a range of receivers:
- Sky+ boxes, free to air satellite receivers or Saorview ready TVs

- It requires a set top box in every room
- Very long cable runs can cause problems (This is why the kit comes with CT100 Cable)
- A professional will most likely be necessary to set up the system
