Advantages of 2 Way VGA Splitter
- Works easily and is just plug and play
- Excellent quality 2 way VGA splitter
- Low cost solution to a real issue and comes with low cost shipping also
- It is a powered VGA splitter. Although non-powered VGA splitters exist, realistically, you need a powered VGA splitter for splitting a VGA signal to work reliably
- Will work for most applications
Disadvantages of 2 Way VGA Splitter
- It only outputs the picture from your device. For example, you need an additional cable to output the audio from a Laptop or PC to your TV in addition to a VGA cable
- May not give the output resolution of either HDMI or DVI connections but is a good workaround where these connections do not exist on your Laptop or PC
- Any time you introduce any form of extra joins into a cable run, you always have the risk of some signal loss but from our tests on this 2 way VGA splitter, these are almost non existant
- It is NOT a VGA input switcher
- Is only 200MHz, so will not have the carry length or resolution capability of a 500MHz VGA splitter
