USES of External USB Sound Card

ADVANTAGES of External USB Sound Card

- A lot of audio equipment like headphones, speakers, microphones etc.. still require an available 3.5mm audio socket
- However, more & more PCs, laptops & MACs do not have a 3.5mm audio port
- A USB sound card will allow you interface 3.5mm audio equipment with devices that do have have an integrated 3.5mm socket
DISADVANTAGES of External USB Sound Card
- Although USB sound cards work well in the main, they are not as good as an integrated or PCI sound card for example
- Sometimes depending on the device, higher volumes may not work so well
- Using it at mid range volumes usually achieves the best results
