USES of TV Lead
Overview
- Often in an apartment block, house or hotel the satellite dish is fed into the attic and from there is distributed via existing cables in the walls to the various TV points
- From here it needs to be connected from the wall plate to the satellite receiver
- For satellite, the face plate on the wall needs to have a female 'F Joiner' type outlet
- This requires a pre-terminated cable with an F connector on either end
Uses
- Connect from F type face plate on the wall to a sky box
- Connect from F type face plate on the wall to a free to air satellite box
- Extending an existing satellite cable (Will also need an f-joiner)
- Run a cable directly from a satellite dish or UPC / Virgin splitter to a digital receiver
ADVANTAGES of TV Lead
