USES of TV Aerial Signal Attenuator
The word Attenuation means "Loss of intensity of a signal". Thus the purpose of this product is to allow the signal strength to be reduced by between 0-20dB. Examples of where it might be used:
- In a large distribution system where TVs near to the main Headend may receive excess signal and need to have the strength reduced
- An amplified signal may be too high to be fed into a distribution amplifier and may need to be turned down prior to being fed into the system
ADVANTAGES of TV Aerial Signal Attenuator
- This is a very effective unit at reducing Signal by a controlled amount
