- Saves having to make up an RF lead to combine a satellite receiver or video to a TV

DISADVANTAGES of a Coax Plug to socket RF Lead
- Picture is never as clear as when using a scart lead
- Not as flexible as a cable you make up yourself because you
- Can't vary the length
- Can't vary the connector type (Coaxial not F)
- Can't very the connector gender
- Copper in the core of cable is thinner than in satellite cable, but this is normally not an issue in short 1.5m cable runs
- Can't be used to connect a standard TV faceplate on wall to the TV i.e. you would need a male to male cable for this
