USES of RCA Over CAT5 Extender
- Use to extend the run length of your RCA setup to 100 metres
ADVANTAGES of RCA Over CAT5 Extender
- Can be used to run older devices which only have an RCA connection over a long distance
- Can be used when you run out of HDMI connections on back of TV
- Easier to run CAT5 cables through walls / trunking and terminate after running them
- With IR control, you can control your RCA device from a remote location
- It can be powered directly from the USB port on a TV or set top box so no need to have mains access
DISADVANTAGES of RCA Over CAT5 Extender
- RCA only gives a passive connection, so turning on a DVD player, for example, will not automatically switch the television to the corresponding AV input
- As you know, RCA won't give a HD quality picture but if you need to run RCA over a long distance, then this is perfect for you

- Irish shipping rates apply to the whole Island (North & South)
