DISADVANTAGES of Galvanised Mast

I've three of these joined together holding up a solar-powered radio aerial. All is well after a couple of months of winter weather conditions with no twisting. I'm glad that they in short lengths for transport and overall am very happy with them. I expect to be buying more.
I actually wanted the old style 15 ft 2 inch pole but they are not popular with delivery vans so I settled for these. I'm actually quite surprised as they are handy to get into even a short Partner van and I can mix and match the two lengths available at FreeTV to get just the height I need. Its not mentioned but i think its best mount them with the male ends up so rain doesn't get in. Also its better to put a Tek Screw in the joints as I found in they can twist a little in wind even after being banged together. I have several 4 metre ones with Litebeam on top that have survived recent storms.
