Uses of Digital Headend
- To convert and combine up to 8 HDMI signals to a DVB-T MPEG4 signal
- It would be used mainly in headend TV systems in

- It can feed an almost unlimited number of TVs, depends purely on the size of the distribution system
Advantages of Digital Headend
- It provides a very neat and professional single unit solution to combine up to 8 HDMI inputs
- It is possible to also add in existing terrestrial DVB-T signal e.g. Freeview or Saorview into the feed

Disadvantages of Digital Headend
