USES of DC Extension Cord

- Would also work with 24Vdc power units that use 5.5 x 2.1mm / 2.5mm DC plugs

ADVANTAGES of DC Extension Cord
- Simpler way of extending your DC run than using CAT5 / CAT6 baluns
- Would be ideal for smaller jobs or perhaps would suit DIYers more than using baluns
- A 2m DC extension cord is ideal where you just need a bit extra length in your run
DISADVANTAGES of DC Extension Cord
- More expensive than using baluns especially on large jobs
