DISADVANTAGES of Caravan Satellite Bracket (A-Frame)

How to Install a Caravan Satellite Bracket (A-Frame)
- Loosen off the locking bolts until they give the maximum clearance
- Angle the bracket to slide over the lip of the A Frame channel
- Tighten the locking bolts by hand
- Tighten the rest of the way with a 10mm spanner
- Tighten the lock nuts into position
- Slide the pole through the other U-bolt until it touches the ground
- If on a soft surface e.g. grass, tap the pole into the ground using a hammer
- Tighten the wingnuts on the u-bolt until it firmly grips the pole
- Now slide the pole on to either the:
- Satellite dish or
- TV aerial
- If the pole is not long enough, you can add on an additional pole using either a:
- Shelley pole clamp
- or Pole coupler
- Note: Only really an option for TV aerials but not for satellite dishes due to stability issues
