Uses of BNC to HDMI Converter
- Used to convert an analogue (CVBS or lower) BNC signal into a HDMI signal
- Note: Never buy a BNC to HDMI cable
- The only real way of converting BNC to HDMI is with a powered BNC to HDMI converter kit like this
- Could be used to convert the output from a legacy CCTV DVR or camera directly into a HDMI signal to run straight to a TV, monitor or modulator

DISADVANTAGES of BNC to HDMI Converter
- You might need to buy a 3.5mm audio cable and/or 5Vdc charger/power supply separately if you do not have them already
- You might also need to buy a BNC to BNC cable if you don't have one available
- Your BNC input signal must be analogue (PAL / NTSC (CVBS)) and will not work with 1MP or 2MP TVI, CVI or AHD resolutions
