BNC connectors are used in conjunction with RG59 cable
They are widely used in the security & CCTV camera industry

ADVANTAGES of BNC Connector (Crimp on)

Gives a very secure crimp on the RG58 cable
These are good BNC connectors at a low price
It is simple to install
It is the industry standard

DISADVANTAGES of BNC Connector (Crimp on)

Requires a crimping tool
Can only be used with RG58 Cable

Common Connectors in CCTV Industry

I didn't buy these BNC connectors for CCTV or any type of T.V. . As a we have taxis we also have Motorola radios in all the cars and at the base. Its a BNC that goes onto the aerial to connect to the back of the unit. 5 out of 5 as regards performance , ease of use, and price.
