DISADVANTAGES of Audio Over Ethernet Adapter
- Only suitable for traditional analogue stereo audio, will not work with digital audio signals like DTS for example
NOTE on Audio Over Ethernet Adapter
- The audio over CAT5 adapters work on a point to point basis
- They are designed for a direct run off CAT5 / CAT6 cable
- They will not work if run though devices like routers or network switches
