ADVANTAGES of an Aluminium Roof Ladder

  • Manufactured by the Market Leaders, Stradbally Ladders, who have a long and proud tradition in the design and manufacture of quality ladders and whose customers include Eircom, ESB etc
  • These are extremely sturdy, strong and well designed ladders
  • Aluminium makes them light weight
  • The wheels on the ladder make it easy to manouver into position and avoids damaging roof slates
  • The design of the hook allows it to securely grip the Apex of roofs on which it is being used
  • These are the safest & best Roof Ladders on the market

DISADVANTAGES of an Aluminium Roof Ladder

  • Not long enough for some dormer roofs where a 7.3m roof ladder may be required
  • Working on roofs by its very nature presents a danger that can be minimised by good working practice, but can not be totally elimated.

Ladder Safety

A roof ladder is essential for safe working on a roof by

  • distributing weight equally on the roof
  • allowing the ladder to grip the roof Apex

Ensure to read the safety documentation from the Health & Safety Authourity (see 'Attachments' tab) for guidance on the safe use of ladders
