USES of 3.5mm to RCA Cable

ADVANTAGES of 3.5mm to RCA Cable
- Can be used to connect devices which only have 3.5mm AV outlets to RCA enabled devices
- Can also be used to connect to scart inputs (if used with a scart to RCA adapter)
- This 3.5mm jack to RCA cable is handy nowadays as a lot of receivers are using 3.5mm AV sockets
- Especially handy in the case where you are connection to an older TV
- Will output both the audio and video
DISADVANTAGES of 3.5mm to RCA Cable
- Using the HDMI connection on your receiver would yield better picture quality but it may not be available or be practical in some cases, especially on old televisions
- Won't work with every set top box as there is no wiring standard for these cables
