USES of VGA to DVI Cable
- This cable converts VGA to DVI with any compatible equipment such as
- PCs, laptops, projectors, TVs & computer monitors
ADVANTAGES of VGA to DVI Cable
- Where the connections exist, it will give very good video output results
- Saves having to buy a VGA to DVI adaptor and DVI cable together
- Dual link DVI-I is backward compatible with older DVI standards and connections
DISADVANTAGES of VGA to DVI Cable
- It only outputs the video, you will need something like a 3.5mm Audio Jack to RCA Cable to output the sound in conjunction with the VGA to DVI cable
- If you already have a spare DVI cable, then just buying a cheaper VGA to DVI adapter would do the job for you
- The VGA to DVI cable is not overly hot swappable and really should be left in place when equipment is switched on and only really plugged out if needed when machines are powered off
