Out of Range Error on Monitor
Sometimes the display resolution between your DVR and the monitor or TV that the DVR is connected to are not compatible. Either the monitor or TV and the DVR specifications usually allow one or the other a higher resolution than the other. If say the DVR was set at a higher display resolution than the TV or monitor, then you may get an error something like, out of range.
This basically means that the DVR resolution is set higher than the TV or monitor can handle. See the video below for further information.
This information is particualarly applicable to PCs and laptops also when display resolution mis-matches can cause and out of range error to be displayed on the TV or monitor.
