Can I get UTV, BBC & Channel 4 on Saorview

Hi Johnny,
Unfortunately you cannot get any of the UK Free to Air channels on Saorview. Saorview is a purely domestic Irish TV and Radio channels platform only.
The channels and services to be made available on SAORVIEW are the following: RTÉ One, RTÉ Two HD, TV3, TG4, RTÉ News Now, 3e, RTÉjr, RTÉ One + 1 and RTÉ Digital Aertel.
Note: From January 1st 2015 UTV Ireland launched on Saorview.
The following radio services will also be available on SAORVIEW: RTÉ Radio 1, RTÉ 2fm, RTÉ lyric fm, RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta, RTÉ Choice, RTÉ Pulse, RTÉ 2XM, RTÉ Gold, RTÉ Chill, RTÉJnr and Radio 1 Extra.
So if you were to purchase either a Saorview Set Top Box or a Saorview Approved TV, the channels above are what you will get. You will also need (if you haven't got one already) a UHF TV Aerial and some cabling to run to the set top box or TV. You could chance an indoor aerial (bunny's ears) but we wouldn't have much faith in these at all, though you may get lucky and find yourself in a heavily saturated Saorview signal area.
If you wanted to get both the new Saorview channels and the free UK channels on one receiver, then you would need to go for something like a Combo Receiver.
