USES of 180cm Aluminium Masts
- Ideal for mounting light aerials
- Can be used to mount a satellite dish
- Not ideal but could be used to mount a satellite dish and TV aerial on a single pole
- Mounting broadband antennas
- Normally used in conjunction with T&K brackets or chimney brackets
ADVANTAGES of 180cm Aluminium Masts
- Aluminium alloy - so has long life expectancy
- Lighter than galvanised masts and therefore easy to work with (especially at heights)
- Cheaper to buy than a galvanised mast or 18 inch universal wall bracket
- Gives greater height and more pole space than a 18 inch universal wall bracket
DISADVANTAGES of 180cm Aluminium Masts
- Not as strong as a galvanised mast - not ideal for mounting satellite dishes
- Unlike an 18 inch universal wall bracket, it incurs additional cost and time of being used in conjunction with either a T&K bracket or chimney bracket
